Leo not eating crickets.

Well it seems June Bug has basically lost the appetite for crickets, he may eat a few, but, not the same amount as last week, maybe only 2 or 3 small compared to 7 or 8...and sometimes skips 2 or 3 days without eating.

But, he will eat probably 10 mealworms..but, he will not eat them dusted with ANYTHING.

I feed the mealies lettuces, yams, carrots, and potatoes..

What can I do?

Will feeding plain mealworms for a week be okay, and next week start up with crickets again?

What if he doesn't want crickets anymore...T_T

What then!?!?!?

Thanks...:D

Well he's a wee babe and supers are probably as big as he is :p

But do I need to supplement the mealies, that's what I'm worried about..
Because he won't eat them powdered, I dusted them, put them in like usual, he ran up to attack it, halted in mid leap, smelled it, and turned the other direction.

Dusted crickets are no problem though.

I would say don't worry about dusting the mealies...keep a little dish of the calcium in his tank at all times...if he needs it...he will have some!

Check the Temps

You should check the Temps and make sure that they are high enough.:main_thumbsup:

Then, try again or maybe offer a larger cricket.:main_yes:

Yeah the temps are all good and I did try the different cricket sizes, he didn't really care, he just climbed the glass to get out.

He hasn't eaten much in the last week either. Today he only ate one small meal worm and one giant.

I think he may only want to eat every other day..
