The situation: I have a leopard gecko male and he is not eating for a several month. The reason of it is that the gecko escaped almost half a year ago and I could not find him until he showed up himself. The gecko is eating actually from time to time, but only after two-tree days of forced feeding. He must be a year old tomorrow and is looking like 4-5 mouth old. He is terribly skinny and can hardly move. I have 12 leos, had different problems with them, but I can't handle this one. He is not eating, not growing, but still shedding, drinking water and moving in terrarium from warm to cold areas. His eyes are half-closed.
Forced feeding was with Ringer Lock solution, entrails of superworm and meelworm, carsil, calcium lactate, vit D3 (water solution).
What will you suggest? His weight is about 9-11 grams
Don't suggest me to see a vet
- reptile vets in our country is not common thing...
