Well I have my female housed alone in a bin, and everytime I open the bin (or tub) she doesnt even look at the food she jsut runs and tries to escape, She wont eat the mealies out of a bowl, so i feed her individually by putting one in at a time, but she doesnt even look at it (even if its moving alot)...how could I solve this problem?

Um my gecko doesn't eat mealies at all. I put some in a container and he totally ignores them. It only eats crickets. HOWEVER, I came up with the idea of gut-loading my crickets with mealies. Yes, they do eat them. Now, Zabo (my gecko) gets the nutrition of a mealworm without knowing it's eating one. :) Try it out, and I wish you luck. Cheers.

I would try to up the temps a little to stimulate appetite. My tubs sit at a steady 95-96*F, and I have never had a gecko go off food. Also, some geckos can be picky. I have one that for the first 6 months of her life would not touch mealworms. Try out different foods, and be sure they are the correct size for the gecko. One thing I have learned is that the bigger the food item, the more interest in it the gecko will have.

I'll try bumping up the temps, but its not like shes never eaten mealies, shes eaten them many times before for 3 weeks shes eat 20 mealies every other day, and now she jsut tries to escape instead :S

How old is she? She could be ovulating. That would very much explain her lack of appetite (even though I've had none of mine go off food, it happens) and her trying to escape...to find a male.
