Hello, I was just wondering if I should be worried that my leo stays in the cool hide all day and night. I recently got a new half-rock, against the wall (cool hide #1), hide so she can be completely hidden if she wants to. Problem is ever since I got the new hide she's been in there all the time. Everytime I peak in to see what she's up to she's in that hide - never in the warm or humid hide anymore. She used to spend most of her time in the warm hide, but she's found a new love, it seems. She's a little over a year old. I feed her ~2-3 times a week but she's always in there. So I basically have to take the hide out and have her climb on my hand to put her back in her housing so I can feed her, otherwise she wont see any of the food as she is almost completely shut off from everything outside the hide. And after she eats she would go back into the same cool hide.
She seems completely normal and healthy. Regular bowl movements, eating regularly, still as docile when handled, etc.
After I take her out of her house to handle/play with her I put her back in next to the warm hide. She will crawl in there for a few minutes and then eventually climb back into cool hide #1.
I've included a picture of my setup, the red line is where the heatpad ends if that matters.
What she currently looks like. Again, she's a little over a year old. I don't know her specific weight as I've yet to purchase a gram scale :main_lipsrsealed:
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
