Well, a couple of weeks ago I noticed that my leopard gecko couldn't see when I was putting food right infront of him it is like he is blind and reacts slowly. I have him in a 10 gallon tank soon during Thanksgiving break I will be getting him a 20 gallon since he is an adult now. I have a calcium dish without D3 in his enclosure and he has water and I feed him superworms (gutloaded with carrots and sometimes apples) since that is what he pikes since the breeder I got him from feed him supers. He has a moist hide and one cool hide and one warm hide. The warm side of the cage is about 92 degrees and the cool side 79-85. I don't know what to do? I don't know if he is going blind or what? Any help would be greatly appreciated. God Bless - Moefv

you should be dusting his food with a calcium mix that contains D3 as well.
try not putting the food so close to his face. im sure theres nothing wrong as all of mine are a bit like that some times.
dose he have any cloudiness or skin on the eyes? and dose he have pupil reflex? (try taking the gecko from dark to light really quickly and see if the pupils contract)

Probably vitamin A deficiency.. I would start dusting every feeder with Repashy Calcium Plus. I have used it as my only supplement for the entire life of my gecko and she has never had a single issue.

Thanks for the advice guys! The breeder I got him from said he didn't dust just left a dish. So I will definitely start dusting with Repashy. Also I have noticed that at night his pupils are not enlarging like they used to, but as Ozy said it is probably a Vitamin A deficiency. Thanks for the help! God Bless - Moefv
