Hi, I am new to the forums, this is actually my very first post.
I have had lots of experience with reptiles, mainly large python species, boas, & tortoises. In all the time I've been involved with reptiles I have had poor luck with egg-layers. I decided that now after moving to Florida, I would start a project with leopard geckos. I am hoping to gain a bit of experience with an egg-laying species that are a little different than my other reptiles. I was able to get myself set up with a group of leos from two trusted breeders. My group of 16 has been doing great now for about 4 months, but now I have a few questions before moving ahead.
So, here is my first question. How can I get some of my less vigorous geckos to eat? I have been feeding superworms & crickets. most of my group eat like sharks when I feed them, but I have some that are less inclined to eat, and 3 that have decided not to eat at all. I have observed some of them go off feed for a week or so, and then they will eat again without trouble, but the 3 that stopped have not shown any renewed appetite. All 16 are housed in a rack system, so they are in the same temperature conditions.
I appreciate any advice.
Thanks
