There is no need to feed leopard geckos live pinkies, its unsafe and cruel to the baby mouse.

I say this because thy have frozen pinkies you can get for the same price and put the bag in warm water and feed to your gecko, the same way, but its not suffering and your gecko doesn't have a chance of getting scratched and or bitten while its being swollowed.

Its just cruel and unessisary to feed live ones, when there are more than enough mealworms for leopard geckos and wax worms for them for protein if thats what your looking for.

How is it any worse than feeding to a snake?
Or killing the pinkie for food as frozen?
It dies either way. If it's live, it's still fresh, at least.

I don't make a regular practice of pinkies, but every once in a while a breeder girl isn't putting weight back on (or recovering enough) between clutches without a pinkie...wouldn't it be cruel to make her starve?
