Leopard Gecko Eggs

So one of my females laid her first today. It was only one which I hear is common for first timers. This female hasn't been eating a lot over the past few months. Her egg just came out sometime today/last night. I uploaded a pic to the thread. Any ideas why it was hard and crushed?

Yes, but it was actually out because the one female dug everything out. I need to cut a tupperware container in the top not the side. Her second came out. Doesn't look great but looks ok.
