My 3rd leopard gecko, Zullu, is only a young juvenile.
He wont eat crickets or mealworms placed in his cage/ food bowl, and only eats by hand force feed (rub side of mouth and insert). Even when i rub his mouth, Zullu just closes his eyes and enjoys it, like i tamed him too much to handling or something, and will only open his mouth after squirming if i grab him by surprise and then rub his mouth, which i hate doing. :main_robin:

When i place the mealie in his mouth, Zullu will bite it and gradually eat it, but after doing this a couple of times, i realized the mealworms were still in his throat- alive! when he would open his mouth, the mealies would be squirming inside, some even crawling out of his mouth.
Zullu would shut his trap and continue exploring my body(he climbs all over my shirt) like nothing happened
Is his body too cold? Can he not digest it? He spends A LOT of time in the hot hide, but once removed, cools down extremely fast, even if my hands are warm. :speechless:

Here are some facts about Zulllu and his eating:
His tail is very long yet wont fatten up, and he is very tiny, thin and fragile, being scared at everything and jumping at the slam of a door. Zullu is an albino, so when he doesnt swallow the mealies, you can see them in his throat through his skin. :freak:
