A) Health/History

- no problems in past
B) Fecals
- regular everyday/night, look normal
C) Problem
- he came out to say hello today and i noticed his back toe was quite red and a little bit cut, like he might have trapped it in something.

Describe Diet:

cant really see from the pic but it does look like its just a cut. you could be right about him traping it. chech is viv and make sure nothings loose that could fall ect. maybe its from the cave being lifted and maybe being put back down on him?
i would say keep it clean by washing the foot every few days, put paper towels in the viv so bits dont get stuck to it while its healing. have a good look to make sure that its not stuck shed left on the toes constricting it as this can sometimes look like this too

great! just wanted some reassurance!! also i had him on the green felt at first but he just wasnt settling in, soon as i put a slightly loose substrate it was as if he was a different gecko, is it ok to have him on anything but the felt

cheers!
