I was reading Ron Tremper books on leopard Gecko.

In the incubation chapter, he suggest a temperature of 90 F to produce male. But he also state that it should not be a constant 90 F, and the incubator should drop for the nigth.

Is this the way you do it ?

if you want males, you could keep it around 89 for the first 14-20 days until the sex is determined, and then you could lower it a few degrees so you dont chance cooking the eggs. i think that is why he drops the temp a little at night.

FYI, I don't think 14 days is enough time to determine the gender... in my experience it's more like 21 days.

For (mostly) males, (because you always end up with females if you REALLY want males... or vise versa) your best bet is a constant 88-90 incubation temp. But, as we all know, some incubators don't like to keep a steady temp (like our old hova) and will fluctuate quite a bit. If you set it at 88, you should get mostly males.
