We just switched our leopard gecko sweeney to a new setup. He now just lays completely flat in his hide where the uth is. I am a little worried. Please tell me with details if this is okay. He was on reptile carpet with no uth but now he is on tiles with uth. Help:(

Do you have a temp. prode on the tile floor? You should have a digital temp probe directly on the tile over the hot side so you can measure what the temp actually is in that area. should be above 90degrees.

The temp is at 90.

90 is on the borderline. have you tried to move your probe to make sure you aren't hitting a hot spot? If you have and all areas of the hot side are at 90 or above at all times then i would say just let your little guy settle into his new diggs! Sometimes it take them 1-2 weeks or longer to get comfy in a new area.

So its normal for him to just lay completely on his stomach
