I picked this gecko up Tuesday night from a big box petstore. He (Im assuming hes a he not really sure as of yet) was covered in stuck shed and considerably thinner than the others in the tank with him. Ive removed most of the stuck shed and he ate pretty good Tuesday night and last night surprisingly, Ive never had a gecko eat the first night I got them. He pooped Tuesday night, it looked pretty normal but hasnt gone since then. The first appt my vet could get me in for an exam and fecal isnt until next month so in the meantime I figured Id see if anyone here had some advice. His movements are really strange sometimes he kind of staggers and leans into the side of his tank, he also rocks back on his back legs, tilts his head to the side and kind of rocks in place, he'll sit like that for a few seconds looking around almost like hes not sure where or how to move. Is this indicative or anything? Its hard to describe I tried to get a video, of course he stopped as soon as I tried. He missed his food when it was right in front of him and I was holding it in place with the tongs. Also the tip of his tail looks a little strange though it could be from the stuck shed he had when I got him. Ill include a picture of the tail and his belly. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. Oh and one more thing just out of curiosity any idea what morph it is?

They usually pick a corner to poop in, so if you put everything in the corners, they become targets. :)

Not sure on the walking issues. Given the conditions these guys sometimes suffer through in pet stores, I'd say give him time to settle in and enjoying proper nutrition and supplementation for a while and see how he does. Might be worth getting some pure calcium powder (without D3) to put a little in a mini-dish in the cage, as they will sometimes lick it up if they need extra.

Not seeing any specific morph jumping out at me, mostly normal markings. You'll have to wait and see how he develops.

I have a pure calcium dish in for him hopefully he doesnt target that next haha. He already looks loads better than the night I brought him home, he was pretty dehydrated and just looked pitiful.
I was thinking normal for the morph too but Im pretty awful at guessing them.
I'll update here as things progress :)
