I have a gecko that I've had for almost three years now, and has always been great with me. In the past few months, she has been having some shedding problems, one of which that involved her eye closing up for almost 2 weeks. It is now healed, with no veterinary care , but it appears that she is a bit more timid, and scared of me. I tried feeding her today, and she took a few crickets from my tweezers (crickets are a treat to my animals). Ususally she is very aggressive when it comes to feeding time. No signs of starvation, everything is going quite swell. She stil has a bit of shed i must remove from her snout, which will stress her out further. How can I get her "back in the groove," and unstressed again? Thanks.
Btw: I do keep a humid hide in the cage at all times, its just that during these winter months in Virginia, it is quite dry in my region and humidity in my house is a little low.
Thanks!
