Welcome, Matt.

What you have looks like a good start. I don't see a humid hide in there. It is recommended to provide at least one humid hide to aid in leopard gecko shedding. As for the heating, I would recommend investing in a thermostat to control the heat output by the mat. Especially where it is inside the cage, a malfunction could cause the area to overheat and post a danger to your gecko.

For measuring the floor temperature, the best tool is a temp gun, although you could also try using a digital thermometer with a probe cord and tape the prove to the floor surface. Not certain what type of thermometer you are using to check the temps.

This forum is for issues using the forum website. You'll have better luck getting feedback if you post in the Leopard Gecko Forum , perhaps in Housing.

Welcome Matt! Not sure what you are planning on feeding your Leo... I suggest Mealworms, over Crickets. They are less noisy, don't smell as much, and less mess. If that is the case, I see you have a food and water bowl already. You will want to add a small dish of plain Calcium so your new gecko can snack when it feels the need. Then over course, dusting the food at feedings. :)

Other than that, I just agree with Indyana. Get a humid hide in their to help with shedding, and once you have the thermostat controlling your temps you should be good to go.[emoji3]
