Hi All, first time leo owner.

So I bought this little guy(Oz) about a month ago from a Petsway in town. The people there told me they were about a year old. However these people were stupid, they informed me leopard geckos were from the New Mexico area, so I'm not sure how credible they were.

Anyways, I've been told they should be full grown after a year, but this guy is a dwarf compared to other leopard Geckos I've seen elsewhere.

Could any of you give me a rough guesstimate of this guys age?

Any input would be much appreciated.
I put a quarter in there for reference.

I can tell you he definitely isn't an adult yet.
From the pictures I would guess maybe 2 or 3 months old.
He sure is cute. :)

Thanks!

He is a voracious eater, and is starting to warm up to my fiance and I.

I figured he was young because I've read young geckos are very skittish and aggressive, and he was both of those to an extreme when we first brought him home.

Thank you again, we were starting to worry we had a dwarf lizard, although we're starting to really like him so it wouldn't bother us even if he was.

Well from my experience, pet store geckos grow much slower than one that have lived their whole life in a responsible owner. So with that said, (also based on the pattern) I'd guess more around 6 months

I agree based on his spotting that he is more than 2 to 3 months. I also agree that he is under a year old and not done growing. So....my guess is closer to the 6 months the poster above stated. He's cute!
