Leopard Gecko Won't Eat

Hi I have had my gecko for about 6 months ( he is about 9-12 months overall) and although he has always eaten well he suddenly will not eat. The only change in his "routine" is that the lights on the fish tank have been shut off for the last couple off weeks. Now after 8 pm the room is totally dark, where before there was enough light to read by till 11pm. I was wondering if this could trick him into brumating and if turning the lights back on will solve his issue. He doesn't seem sick just lazy and uninterested in food. He is being kept on reptile carpet/slate. Thanks in advance!

I really do not think that the fish tank lights are the problem. If all your temps in his cage are good, and you are not seeing any weight loss, then I would not be too concerned. Winter time will cause them to slow down a bit. I have a few that went off food for about a week, and then started back up.
