I was cleaning and feeding one of my leopard geckos yesterday, and I had a towel hanging on the top of the tank (30x12x12 tank). Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw him jump up in an attempt to grab the towel. Quite startled me at first because I've never seen my geckos jump straight up like that before.

Needless to say I took the towel away, and put the mesh top back on. So yeah if anybody out there thinks leopard geckos can't jump, they can. Don't underestimate those lil buggers :main_laugh:

I had to remove some fake plants in Toon's tank because she kept trying to climb up them. First I tried putting them high enough to be out of her reach (or so I thought). I watched that naughty lizard take a flying leap from one of her hides trying to get to one.

My new little leo loves to jump for my fingers at feeding time lol they seem to think its food, getting them to notice the REAL food can be a pain sometimes

LOL well I've seen other types of lizards that can jump but so far I haven't seen Merlin jump. I don't know how I'd react if he did! XD
