Offer the gecko as much food as it will take. He'll decide when he's full or throw up if he over-eats. Either way he'll regulate it himself and you can develop a pattern for feeding him the proper amount.

You'll be surprised how much these guys can eat, 10-12 crickets a day isn't out of the ordinary for a 1 month old gecko.

Leopard geckos should not have prolonged diarrhea
They might have loose stools if you switch foods-say from crickets to worms but their poop should be firm with a white urate in it and it should not stink

Diarrhea is often a sign of internal parasites and if left untreated this will kill a baby Leo

As for eating-most people feed babies meal worms and put them in an escape proof dish-one with slippery sides that the worms cannot crawl up and out of
This also needs to be shallow for young babies
You can start off with 10 worms per night for a baby that young and just discard any leftover the next day or add more if they are all eaten

When first placing a shallow dish/or a large bottle cap of worms in the babies tank-I often drop the worms -one at a time into it -the movement usually gives the baby the idea that there is food there

The meal worms will crawl under the paper towels(if used as a substrate) if not eaten right away and your Leo will find them

The advantage of leaving the worms in a dish is that your Leo will be able to munch on them whenever it is hungry-not just when you feed it and Leos like to eat at night when they are the most active

You can also feed a few crickets per day in addition to the meal worms but only as many as your baby will eat right away so that there are not any loose ones running around all night
Can you please post pics of your Leos enclosure and/or just give us the details-

type of heating and temperatures in the tank
moist and dry hides
substrate
overhead lighting(if any is being used)
size of tank/enclosure

I hope that we can help you with your new baby
