What is the approx. days is it between time you witness breeding and the time the female lays eggs? Trying to make notes this year and keep up with time frames and see how close everyone elses time frame runs with mine. Also is there already a general time frame?Any info here on this topic would be great.

Between first breeding and first clutch is about 4-6 weeks. Some of mine have taken as short as 17 days, and some of them have taken nearly 6 weeks.

Then, between clutches is another 2-4 weeks. Some girls are faster, and some are slower.

Finally, the last clutch (in my experience) tends to take longer. Usually on the latter scale of 2-4 weeks. Most of mine take about 4-5 weeks to complete their last clutch.

I have the exact dates of my first time female so far.

Bred on 12/29/06

Layed
first clutch-1/17/07
second clutch- 1/31/07 1 infertile/molded
third clutch- 2/22/07
doesn't appear to be gravid again at this time.

First clutch hatched 3/5/07

Mine usually lay 2-5 weeks after breeding.
