Licking her behind.

Today I got home and I seen that my leopard gecko had her tail up and was licking her behind. I've never seen this before I noticed that she was licking some fluid. The fluid wasn't like dripping of her I just know that it was something I've never seen her do before. The only thing different that I have done was that I tried to pair her with my male but she wasn't cooperative. Please any advice would help and it would be greatly appreciated.

Usually males lick their hemipenis after mating with a female, but i do not see female do this like that or after pairing.

She might have just pooped. Sometimes they lick their vent after. Also, I have a female who licked her vent a bit right after mating, so I don't think it's exclusively a male thing. Probably no big deal if she's otherwise acting normal

Iv seen both my males and females do it. i wouldn't be worried unless there was blood ect

My females lick themselves after using their "restroom", after mating, and sometimes just randomly (though they are ovulating and/or gravid....may have some influence.)
