Licking vent?

So I posted a few days ago and it sounds like my big female is ovulating. Can't see any eggs yet but she hasn't eaten in 2 weeks, not losing weight, and she's pretty restless.

Today I say her licking her vent, and the vent was open. She closed it and stopped licking it when I tried to get a closer look (i didn't touch her, just tried to look). Is this a normal part of ovulation? Looking at the vent now, there's nothing abnormal.

I have no idea. My male does the same thing, actually. When he does it, he makes this weird squealing sound, too. But when I look at his vent, there's nothing wrong with it.
