My leo fang is a juvienile and recently when i have my lights on he shuts his eyes and wont open them.. this makes feeding him crickets at nyt a challenge.. But i did an experiment i turned off the lights and turned on my moonlight bulb and dropped the cricket in, he suddenly notices the cricket and hunts it down, i guess wat im saying is, is this normal for a young leo to be sensative to light? He is a regular morph not albino

Since they are nocturnal...[well for Dog Shrinks sake (she's gonna come bite me in the butt, I'm tired and am forgetting the name...cra cra ugh forget it)...they're not completly nocturnal :p] yes it's normal for them to not want the light :p He probably can't see the moon night or it's easier on his eyes.

We feed all of our geckos at night typically after 9pm when they are up and active. After feeding we shut off the light and are done with them unless I get off work and check for ovulations.
