Light Sensitivity?

I know have had a couple threads on this but am still kinda confused. A few of my geckos are albino and know they can be sensitive to light. I have no natural daylight in my room so I setup a lamp near there tank and turn it off and on around the same time every day to promote a naatural light cycle. Could this still stress them out ? If so should I just leave the lights off all day. Sorry for posting this question again I have just heard several different things regarding lights. Thanks

Is there no window in your room? If u need a daylight lamp just put it on on cyclical timer

Or you can just leave your actual light on in your room...I don't like the lights too much because they're so bright.
