This is natural sunlight.

I think they are pretty close. The first picture has a little more contrast though.

Is it just me or does that gecko have a blue spot on its head? :main_robin:

The depth of field looks different in these 2 images and your shutter speed was less with the flash image :)

Even natural light is always the best lighting IMHO.

Both images are of the same gecko. Both shot with my Canon digital rebel on auto. That does not account for the likeliness of human movement. I don't use a tripod and usually just take one or two quick shots and call it good. lol

I was only trying to compare the coloring in the two shots.
In my opinion the indoor shot with the flash is actually more true to life.

The subject is from Albeys dorsal stripe lines via Aubrys Reptiles. I Produced it and a few others this year from animals I received from Shawn. It is not het for Tremper! lol
I do have some that are het for RW though. ;)

Jeremy, I was just messing with you ;) I moderate a photo website and own a few canon DSLR's. I am burnt out on photography anymore and take only quick images with a $200 4 year old fuji.

Those Drebels are sweet little cameras!
