Lighting for Warmth

My new leo I got yesterday came with her tank and supplies and everything. The tank has a UTH but I think it is too small for a 20L tank (it's about 7x7 inches). Directly over the pad is warm enough but the rest of the warm end of the tank is at about 80-85. I want to get a bigger one but in the meantime, what would be a good wattage red bulb to use to bring the warm end temp up to about 90ish?

maybe just put a nice hide over where the UTH is. This would help keep some of the heat inside and from escaping.. idk how much room they need for belly heat

That is about the same size as the UTH that I have on my 20L. I just moved the moist hide and hot hide both half over the pad. The hides stay at 90-95* and the cool end stays at 78-83. I also use tile, which helps spread the heat out.

I say you are fine without the lamp. However, If you still want to use one, I would say a 60 or 75w on a dimmer would work pretty well.

I ended up getting $50 today for some work I did a few weeks ago so I'm going to go get her a bigger UTH and a few other things today. :)
