So, I have a daylight blue bulb for heat and light, and then I switch to Nightlight Red bulb for heat and for observation...it seems like my redbulbs keep going out...and this new one I have seems as if its going to die anyday now...So the question is, do I need the heat lamp during the night? I have a UTH, but is that enough?

as long as your substrate temps are right, then no light is needed. leos only need belly heat. Most people dont realize or understad that, and it is what makes leos SOOOO easy to care for IMO. Some people keep there temps around 90-95. I keep mine at 93 plus or minus a degree.

Ohh ok. That makes sense, its still pretty frustrating that I spend almost 10 bucks for a bulb just to have it die...
Thank you for the reply!
