very cool! Question for ya...does the enigma gene combine with the TUG snows to make super snow enigmas as it does with Mack snows? What would a TUG snow enigma look like?

Not to my knowledge as I have not done the cross. Only TUG to Mack can produce Supers at this point, TUG x Gem, and TUG x LBS has not been done to the best of my knowledge. I do believe a TUG Snow Enigma was produced in Europe earlier this year. But I will be doing that cross as soon as I find a nice enough Tremper Enigma for Phantom Enigmas(Go Big or Go Home... ;) )

We've seen a lot of snow in the last couple days, but those are a welcome sight! Very nice Nigel.

Great looking gecko! I just gave a question genetic wise. how can you still get super snows when you cross TUG x Mack or LBS x Mack? They are different genes but you can still get the super form? I don't know that just always confused me. lol

They arose independently, but it doesn't mean that they are not the same gene, or that those genes don't interact somehow. Consider additive genetic effect or epistatic effects between different loci.
Alleles on different genes can interact to give a phenotype that you would not expect from simple Mendelian inheritance.

Oh I think I see what your saying, its similar to the ultra gene and the amel gene in corn snakes. They are a similar but not the same genetic trait but since they are located close to each other on the alleles when the two genes are together it makes a codominate effect. Its confusing lol. Interesting Thanks.
