Ok I know what I would get using the morph calculator, but I also know line breeding is a bit different. I just wanted to double check. Breeding siblings this year that are both tangerine het tremper.. The outcome should be 50% tangerine het tremper and 50% tangerine albino.. Correct?? Thanks in advance..:D

I would say MOST would be tangerine, 25% would be albino, the rest would be 66% het albino. However, check out "inbreeding depression" from breeding siblings. Best to avoid if possible.

I would say: it is expected that 25% would be Tremper Albino, 50% would be het for Tremper Albino and 25% would be Normals. (actually this is the same as posted by ForTozs but with different words) :)

TripleALeos: Tangerine trait is a polygenic trait, so you could not be sure that all babies would be Tangs, althought it is very probable for most of them.

it would also depend if you are using the real tangerine line from the urban gecko, because these seem to breed more true than some other lines of high orange that people are calling "tangerines"...there are some phoney "tangerines" out there that have no true tangerine blood in them, they are just high orange animals that people are trying to sell as the real tangerines.

no offence but if you would see a REAL tug tangerine beside most others (in person especially) i think you would not say that they are no greater than other lines. i have seen tug tangerines from craig next to another really nice tangerine...craigs SMOKED it! i have seen a few "tangerine" lines that simply cant come close the tug tangs...but there are other very nice tang lines out there, im not saying other lines are not pretty or even spectacular, but the ones i have seen just cant hang with the real tug tangs i have seen in person.

TUG tang is just a line though. If Craig personally sat you down with one of his geckos then of course his was better. There is always a bigger fish. Like breeding dogs, they are not all golden. You have an alpha and a mutt. We post alphas online, and sell the mutt wholesale. It's ok if you are bias, I love my TUG brand gecko too. But we don't have anything like an AKC so no brand can be dominant, only specific individual geckos.

each of us is allowed our own opinions as to what we like, but TUG tangs are indeed just a line of tangerines. i have some tug tangs, some albey tangs, some electric tangs, some extreme tangs, and crosses of all of the above. my electrics and extreme x electric crosses are by far the brightest in my opinion. and i have some albey x electric stuff that will blow your mind. again, my opinion. im glad that you like the TUG line and you have done business with them. but just because it didn't come from TUG doesn't mean it's not a real Tang...

i dont remember saying anything about "its not tug line, its not a real tang..." i only stated that the tug line tangs are the nicest i have personally seen, even beside other "high end" tangs i have seen. that being said, if your stuff is brighter, AWESOME! email me some pics, or post em on the "show off your leos" post, and if i like them, i WILL buy some...i buy the best of any species i can find, that is how i have always been, and always will be! i also WILL NOT put someone elses animals down, if i dont care for something, i wont say anything at all! i know whoever produced it; worked very hard on doing so, and they are(and should be) proud of it! so before we start an arguement over someones opinion, or putting words in my mouth(which almost got a guy knocked out this past weekend) you should probably re-read my post...i stated that the tug tangs are the nicest i have seen, so if you or someone else has nicer ones...AWESOME!!! i am happy for you! i love it when others succeed, im not just out for myself like alot of people in this hobby. i do remember saying "the REAL tangs, from tug..." but i did not realize there were older lines than craigs...i was told he originated the tangerine and tangerine tornados...i have only been looking into leos for a few months to this point and dont know all the originators yet....i know what i was told. so before this gets out of hand and stupid, if i said anything that offended anyone, i am sorry for that, but to date, i have not seen nicer tangs than the ones from craig.
