Okay when browsing over an available list I saw a Gecko. We all know these hot incubated geckos which are banded with nearly white and yellow bands right? Gecko

That Gecko has more white bands than yellow ones or more the yellow ones are broken open.
Has anyone ever tried to breed for more white than yellow on such a gecko? Or is THAT what makes the Linebreed snow. And shouldn´t it be pos. to mak a complete white Albino with CT than?

THX for reading ;-)

BTW can someone explain me polygynetic as a trait? How it acts?

That's pretty much what Paul Allen is going for with his Lavender Bells... Although with Bells the white is ''Lavender''...

A polygenic trait is complex. Unless you have the genome sequenced and probes for the alleles, all you can do is use linebreeding to get the animals you want. I wish they had sequenced leopard geckos instead of green anoles.

What I think people mean with polygenetic is that they have no clue, meaning that it is not a hereditary trait with simple genetics (recessive, dominant, ...).

But from a scientific point of view you are correct. ;)
