Hello,
I'm a little concerned about my leo, Sonny. She's peeing liquids and no solids. I did a bit of research and found out it can be due to stress or it's completely normal. Could this be it? She has been climbing all over the tank, and I have been handling her a bit more because it seems like she wants to climb some more (clawing at the glass when I come in) and there isn't much in her tank. When I put my hand in, she immediately comes over and starts climbing up my arm. Also, the only appetite she seems to have is for wax worms. She hasn't eaten any super worms since her last shed which was a week or 2 ago. I used wax worms to see if she even had an appetite, and well, she gladly ate them. I'm hoping she'll have her appetite back soon, and I really hope she's okay because 1) she's my very first leo and I love her very much! 2) I'm going on vacation in a week for a week and a half D: So vacation and her being sick do not got well together at all. Thanks in advance for your help!
About your leo:
- Sex: female
- Age & Weight: about a year old maybe less, but I don't know her weight
- How long have you owned your leo: 8 months
- Where was he/she obtained (ex. Pet store, breeder, wild caught, friend): Pet store
A) Health/History
- How often do you handle your leo: every other 2 to 3 days, but lately I've been handling her a bit more because I walk in my room and she comes over clawing at the glass and wanting to climb
- Is your leo acting any different today? If so how does he/she normally act which differs from now. : I guess she's a bit more active than usual; climbing all over her tank. Also, she hasn't eaten since her last shed which was a week or two ago. The only food she ate were a few wax worms I used to see if she was even hungry. She has no appetite for superworms, but she'll gladly eat wax worms.
- Has he/she had any problems in the past, if so please describe.: no
B) Fecals
- Describe (look any different than normal): Her pee is completely clear liquid. She's not pooping though because she hasn't eaten anything for the last few days
- When was the last time he/she went: today
C) Problem
- Please briefly describe the problem and how long it has been going on: Her pee is completely liquid. I think it's been that way for the last 2 days because there were 2 damp spots. The last time I changed it was 2 days ago. It was today I realized she was peeing liquids because I saw her do it.

A) Enclosure
- Size: 20 gallon long
- Type (ex. glass tank): glass

- Cage temps (hot side, cool side): 94-96F and about 77 on cool side
- Method of regulating heat source: thermostat
- What are you using to measure your temps: probe thermometer
- Do you have any lights (describe): no
