Well long story short, while cleaning my 2 crested gecko's tanks i found dryed up eggs that had been laid and i didn't catch. So i decided to seperate them for the rest of the winter so she's not being bombarded by him.

I got her tank all setup and put a moist box with moss inside the tank and i come back a half an hour later to her laying eggs!~

Naturally i am very excited about this and wanted to know exactly when i should take them out and put them in the incubator dish i have setup? She layed these literally 10 minutes ago..

Thanks!

Put them in a deli cup with the moss, I personally use perlite, but mark the tops of them before you take them out so that you know their position. Place them in an area that the temps do not rise or fall rapidly, you want an area with a constant temp. Now you dont need an actual incubator, but you stil want to maintain a certain temp otherwise you can end up with deformities when the baby hatches. I just use room temp, but my room tends to stay at a constant 74 degrees.

I would up her calcium intake a bit, her breeding season is obviously going to be kinda messed up now, usually fall and winter is the cooling season, and she may lay several clutches. So to make sure she doesnt get depleted, give her a little extra calcium to get her through this laying. If she happens to only lay this one clutch this entire fall and winter, she should be fine to breed in the spring. If she continues to lay eggs over the next few months, I wouldnt consider putting her with your male again until summer to give her enough time to cool down.

What exactly should i be using to up the calcium? I've been feeding them CGD as a staple and crickets at most twice a month since i've had them, so i've never really had to do anything else feeding wise.

There are alot of calciums on the market, I go back and forth between a few types as there are times I will offer calcium with D3, and other times without D3. I personally do offer UVB over my egg laying girls to offer them more UVB to insure they have everything they need. But I use Rept-cal, not to be confused with Reptocal or Reptacal, or Reptimin, all less quality knock offs. I also use Miner-all for my calcium with D3. But you can also use a the type Repashy makes http://www.pangeareptile.com/store/index.php?target=products&product_id=29812
I plan to switch over to this when I do use up my other calcium options for my rhacs.
