Live in tropics - heating required?

hi guys, here's another question that's been bugging me for awhile, hope you guys could help me out with it...

i'm living on a tropical island where the temperature is on average 33C in the day and around 23C at night. humidity is high, about 50-60% depending on the time of the year (right now it's at an all-time high of 66% and above!).

so my main concerns are these:

do i still need a heat pad? or any form of heating? all the breeders i've spoken to here haven't mentioned those as necessary items.

considering the humidity in the atmosphere, is a moist hide still necessary? one breeder here was of the opinion it wasn't, with gravid females as the exception to that, but my girl LOVES digging around in the damp moss in her moist hide so i provide one anyway.

i must add that her enclosure is in my room, which is probably a little less humid and a bit colder than outside, especially at night when the air-conditioning's on (i need it to sleep in, am not a fan of humid weather myself). but in the daytime when i'm out, it does get a bit warm in there.

Since it's in your room, I would provide a humid hide, since the air conditioning will make it really dry at night. I'm not sure if heating is necessary, but a heating pad won't hurt.
