Lobster Roaches?

The local reptile shop owner told me that I should try starting a Lobster Roach colony instead of a dubia. He says they are easier to care for, and multiply faster.
Is this true?
Is there anyone on here who sells them?

Thanks!

What I want to know is how much easier can if get than Dubia?! I haven't touched that colony other than to throw food and water crystals in there for almost a year!

Hi Heather,
Yeah, I'm not sure how it is easier, other then just not as much waiting.
By the way, how's Piglet's kid doing?
:D

Doing fantastic Hayden :) I've decided to name him MP...Mini Pig lol. He's a ravenous little eater that one...loves those dubia just like his daddy, that's for sure!!

It doesn't get much easyer then dubia. me personaly I wouldn't go with lobsters I have a hard enough time keeping up with lateralis. don't get me wrong they are great. they produce lots and fast , but they are quick, luckaly enough they can't climb smooth surfaces . thats the advantage. lobsters I believe can climb smooth surfaces and are fast much harder to contain you wouldn't want escapees and then have a colony get started some place worm in your house.

If you like I've got plenty of baby lats to spare and at a good deal. just let me know if you want to try some , and I'm in the area. just across the Columbia river.

Might be a dumb question, but lateralis = Dubias?
