So I haven't really been posting much in the snake section as Lokkis set up wasn't amazingly good but i've just finished putting the finishing touches on her viv, shes still a lil bubba, but I moved her up to small mice today which is great!
Heres a few pictures of her new viv with her in it (shes over the back by the plant)

She is heated by heat pad at the back connected up to a stat :). The viv is 15mm thick melamine faced contiboard.
All built by me of course ;)

Ditch the large half log and go with 2 tight fitting hides, 1 on the hot side and 1 on the cool side. I think your little guy will be much happier that way. Also that will be easier to feed in.

Never feed inside the viv.
The half log she loves as she likes climbing and rarely uses her other hides, one on left is warm the half log is the cool end. Never had her go on any type of hunger strike so far so its all goooood.

As long as she's feeding your alright then. Also most ppl feed inside the tank/tub. There is no prof feeding inside causes aggression issues or mistake identity. Hit up BP.net sometime, good info there.

Might not want to feed in a cage like that with a substrate that can be harmful if consumed... so there are more reasons than just possible aggression to feed outside the enclosure.

^^ bingo
1 reason but ive allways fed snakes outside thier enclosure, just makes it easier and if they end up making the mouse explode its easier to clear up! lol
