Ok, so I saw a few people on here trying the styrafoam thing... you know what Im talking about. Anywho, I had the perfect mishap occur and I needed to seperate two geckos, that are housed in a 40 breeder tank. SO, here I go on my adventure of styrafoam, grout, and spray paint... :main_thumbsdown:

These two are the side with my Las Vegas Albino female... she just came into breeding weight and age I believe, hence the seperation.

I don't think it's that bad. Least you put some time into it I just took an old 2x2 tile and put it vertical in the tank to seperate mine ha

Ok well... update. It seems that my blizzard CLIMBS up and over the top (theres like an inch of seperation between the top of the styrafoam and the top) and me manages to slide in between them and go down.... so... back at start.

With your next project, try to cut the corners at 90Degree angles so they fit together more tightly then you can sandpaper the joints into round edges. wont even be able to tell its separate pieces after grouting, that was the only think I saw that could really use a change, maybe use an exacto knife to cut some gashes and chunks out to make it look more naturally weathered. I though it looked great tho just a bit more work on those connection pieces =P I'm no expert though and you asked for input so.
