What's the story behind its name 'En'?

Her full name is Enheduanna, En for short. My degree is in ancient religious history. And I like naming my geckos after Sumerian deities and famous persons. Enheduanna was a famous Sumerian priestess and poet who worshiped Inanna and ran her temple. She's first author known by name in history and wrote poems in the vain of Rumi to Inanna. Because En is this fabulous little Murphies patternless with big black eyes, she reminds me of Sumerian votive statues, which Enheduanna would have helped care for, in her appearance, so going with that priestess's name seemed fitting. : )

I believe the name fits. My tremper sunglow male has the name Anzu.
