Looks like Eris is about to shed... AGAIN

This girl sure does shed often. Got her on September 17, and she seems to be on a three week shed cycle. She must be growing still. I really need to weigh her, cause she's definitely a big girl.

I love how her bright yellow fades to a very faint yellow and her spots to pink while she's in shed. Reminds me of Fluttershy:

She is so cute! Love her colors. All 3 of mine are under 6 months and they shed often, about every 3 weeks still.

I missed her shed again :/ Oh well. Everything seems to be okay, minus a little bit of cloudy junk floating on her eye. When she blinks, it moves around, so I assume she'll lick her eye clean at some point.

She was being a bit squirmy, so I couldn't get a good shot of her eye (had to take it with a long exposure and no flash), but here's what is leftover:

I love how her colors really pop right after a shed.

I took a thumb tack and poked a hole in the lid of an unopened bottle of water, and gently irrigated her eye. I didn't want to use an opened bottle, for fear of possible contamination and subsequent infection, and didn't want to use tap water because of the chlorine content and other nonsense that's added to the water supply. She didn't much like it, and she quickly fled after the second or third attempt, but I do believe it rinsed out. I did it about five minutes ago and already she's out and about again, so i guess I didn't scar her for life, hah.

On a side note, do all RAPTOR leos have solid, dark ruby eyes like mine does, or are hers eclipse?

The solid eyes are from the Eclipse gene. But not all Eclipses have sold eyes. My RAPTOR has one solid eye and one 80% solid eye

Just a couple more pictures to dump since I caught a funny moment when I stuck her humid hide on top of the cage to rearrange some tiles and clean some poop from her enclosure.
Finally decided to poke her head out to explore a bit.

Taking notice of the pupated giant mealie. She never turns one down when I offer them to her.

She finally decided to come out and explore her freshly cleaned latrine.

Yes, I'm going to get Moka a proper humid hide next payday. That mangled tupperware container looks terrible and doesn't hold in the humidity quite as well as Eris's does.
