It might affect them or their babies if its genetic. If its related to an environmental factor such as losing weight after being obese, scar tissue, etc. It wouldn't. If I wasn't sure I would probably refrain from breeding the leo unless they are outstanding in some other way. There are so many nice perfect animals out there that it's not worth it to me to breed one with even the slightest defect.

If you see one for sale at a discounted price it is most likely genetic. So as a pet it would be ok but as a breeder no good.
