hello everyone
my gecko has recently stopped eating all of the sudden for tthe past 2 and a half to three weeks. This is really concerning me because she has lost about 4 grams during this period. She used to be a really good eater and would eat about 7-8 crickets every other day. Does anyone now what could be the cause of the problem or if any of u have experienced this before?

My guess is parasites. I would suggest getting a fecal done and go from there.

get a fecal right away, we had the same problem and it turned out to be pinwormsplus she has to get shots for a bacterial infection

Ask Marcia... she seems to know good vets in Cali, or at least where to find them.

Is it female? If so, some will stop eating alot during the breeding season. I have had breeding females lose 15-20 grams.

How long have you had your gecko? Is she housed by herself? Chances are that she is ovulating and on a hunger strike, but just to rule out any other problems you may want to get a stool sample in to a vet. Pinworm infections rarely cause geckos to stop eating. Here are two links to veterinarians in California:

i have had my gecko for about 10 months, and she has been housed alone
