lots of liquid, no solid waste

so i've noticed that the piece of paper towel i put in the poop corner was fairly soaked the other day and tonight it is almost completely soaked with no other waste anywhere on it except for a tiny solid white piece. i don't see how it could be parasites since i only have one gecko, and he's on tile so i don't think it could be impaction either. does anybody have any idea what's going on here? everything was fine until a day or so ago...

sometimes my leo lets out some liquid along with its poo and urine but never by itself

the only thing i can think of is that about a week or so ago when i was cleaning off some stuck shed he took a snap at the q-tip and maybe he swallowed some? even if he did accidentally get a little bit, it wasn't much at all, maybe a few fibers at most.

i don't think thats it.does the liquid dry up? maybe its just urine that like wasnt ready or turned into the white stuff. because my leos sometimes let out a liquid with their feces too.

I've noticed that my hatchlings do this because there's always a spot of dried up liquid that surrounds the poo/urine. I've also seen this in other people's hatchling pictures, so I assumed it was normal.

it dries up clear and just leaves the paper towel looking wrinkled.
i was just concerned because there seemed to be a big spot (2.5" x 2.5" or so) with no actual poop

Is it pure brown or black? Or does it have some white in it still?
I know waste smells, but does this smell even worse then normal?

If it's very liquidy and very often I'm thinking Bacterial Infection.

Sounds like your gecko may have peed, and the white urate came out as well. Is your gecko eating and behaving normally?

that's what i thought as well. either way he pooped regularly tonight and he's been behaving normally, i guess i just got worried over nothing.

Geckos have kidneys and a bladder, but usually their urine comes out in the form or solid white urates from the ureters, which is a separate opening in the cloaca. When they are well hydrated, the excess fluid fill their bladders, and they pee... sometime a LOT. I've been peed on many times, lol!
