I think that every forum section should have sticky posts of FAQs and important information on each subject. For example, here are some stickies I'd like to see in certain forums -

General Discussion:
-general leo care sheet

Morphs and Genetics:
-link to the Leopard Gecko wiki with all the morph articles
-some other genetics information, like outcomes of certain crosses
-morph names and definitions, also what common abbreviations stand for

General Care and Husbandry:
-care sheet

Housing:
-basic housing information including FAQs on space requirements, separating sexes, hides, warm side and cool side temps, substrates, etc
-dangers of sand
-FAQ about rack systems, including guides (or links to guides) on how to build your own

Feeding/Feeders:
-basic feeding FAQ including feeding schedules
-links to online feeder suppliers

Supplementation:
-basic supplement FAQ and supplement schedule

Breeding:
-FAQ/How to (pros and cons of keeping male with females all year round, how to introduce, how many times to introduce to ensure fertilization, etc)

Egg Incubation:
-FAQ including temps, incubation mediums, length of time, etc

Hatchlings:
-hatchling care sheet and FAQ

Shipping:
-FAQ

As for the other reptile forums (like the sections Ball Python, Crested Geckos, Bearded Dragons, etc), I think a care sheet on each of these should be stickied as well.

I think it would help a lot of people find important (and correct) information if there would be posts like these written by the "experts" and made sticky. I think it could help reduce repeat questions, because even though the search feature is there, sometimes it's hard to find exactly what you're looking for. I realize this would take quite a bit of volunteer work to organize, but I think it would really help the forum in the long run.

I 2nd that :main_thumbsup:

A sticky I would like to see is a list of abbreviations.

example,

SHTCTB = (what s.h.t.c.t.b. mean here)

This would certainly help with repeat questions. However, it might leave us with a lot less to talk about.
