My leopard gecko pushed too hard on one of the real rocks i have in my tank and she literally scraped her nose raw on it. She was bleeding and she has a small skin flap in her nose, but i patted it down with warm water and a q-tip. Other than the bleeding, it didn't seem serious. Since it's near her face, will she stop eating? I'm worried the most about her health and whether or not I should not feed her for a bit to get her appetite back up in time while she heals?

I tried giving her a superworm but she seems to want nothing to do with them.. She turns away and closes her eyes at any food given to her
Should I just be patient? Or persistent with feeding?

Just continue offering food as you normally would and keep an eye on the wound to make certain it is healing well.

The nose rubbing is a bit concerning. I would review your setup and make sure she has adequate hiding spots and a humid area to help with shedding if needed. If so, maybe this was just an accident on her part. I wouldn't want it to become a habitual behavior though.

I have a moist hide I keep damp at all times, and she's on paper towel. I think she just rubbed the wrong spot on the rock and it scratched her enough to bleed.. I might sand down my rocks or put something soft over the sharp edges so this doesn't happen again, that being said, this is the first time this has happened and I have multiple geckos with real rocks to help sheds.
