I have heard that it is not possible to have mac supersnow super giants.... which leads me to my second question, a super snow super giant diablo blanco be possible?
I got the information from james at onlinegeckos.com...
Hi there,
Unfortunately it's impossible to create a "super giant" super snow, I
got this info from Ron Tremper himself. He says something about the
super snow and giant genetics, they cancel each other out. So you are
able to get giants, but you aren't able to get super giants. Just
thought the information may be helpful
We have a giant mack snow here we're looking to breed with her, so we
should get some giant mack snows and some giant mack super snows next
season. As for super giant sunglows, we're all out of them this
season. We should definitely have more next year though.
Interesting... I'd never given it any thought. My female "looks" like a super giant, but is not real big compared to my others. All of the super snows I've hatched this year are also small compared to their regular snow or non-snow clutchmates, and all are from a super giant male. I would guess that the size is affected, but not the gene, meaning a super giant super snow bred to another super giant will still yield all super giants. Guess I'll have to test it!
Steve Sykes has just posted a male... confirming that my suspicion that the information was likely erroneous or misunderstood. The super snows, in my experience, just grow so much slower, that I think it takes much longer for the giants and super giants to catch up to a normal snow or non-snow.
I noticed that super snow as well. However, will have to see in person to see if it is built like a super giant or a really large gecko... If that is the case, then a super snow super giant diablo blanco would be possible..
