Hi guys and girls.
I would like to get your information on this one.
I had a pairing between a Mack Snow Raptor and a Raptor Het Diablo Blanco.
This according to me should give Raptors and Snow Raptors all PH Blizzard.
The other day the first of this pairing hatched and it was not a Raptor or not even an Albino but an Eclipse ??????
Can anyone give me some insight to why this might have happened.
Thanks

It might just be a dark albino. I have a tremper male that looked like a normal as a baby but is definitely an albino now. You might have to wait a little till its clear.

Could you explain to me what an aptor eclipse looks like? From what I know an aptor contains the patternless stripe but not the Red Eyes (this not having the "r" in raptor)

And also why a Raptor to Raptor pairing would not produce geckos that all are homozygous for the eclipse gene? You may not get all true "raptors" because the patternless stripe needs to be present but why would the offspring not been some form of eclipse?

I dont know what they are talking about but pics might help...

Maybe the parents arent what they seem or the hatchling isnt what you think... or the hatchling came from different parents?

Mack Raptor X Raptor het Blizzard (aka het Diablo Blanco)=
50% Mack Raptor pos het Blizzard
50% Raptor pos het Blizzard
