This may be old news , but I wanted to share.....
When I started to incubate my mack snows I read in numorous threads about them being hard to temp sex. These findings came from many different users on different sites.
My findings thus far from 4 mack het tremper and 1 mack tremper females are right on with the typical temp sexing of all other morphs. I incubated at 88 hoping to get a mix of males and females and came up with 100% males
I have come to the conclusion that while mack snows are atypical from others findings, add in the albino gene and they become typical once again.
I am now incubating 14 eggs at 82 degrees, so hopefully I get my females. Next year I will hopeful not produce so many males
