So far my planning for next year and what sort of morphs I would like to breed has mostly gone smoothly. Mack snows and mack crosses are my favorites, so I've decided to declare those my focus for now. I've already decided that my first female breeder is going to be a mack snow. After deciding this I have hit a "bump in the road" so to speak when it comes to what sort of male I should have. I'm very torn between another mack snow, a pastel, or possibly a tremper albino.
I realize that with another mack snow my theoretical genetic results would be 25% normal, 50% mack snow, and 25% mack super snow... But what would happen to the odds for a normal if I bred a mack snow female to a pastel male? Would there be any significant difference of normals?
Also I'm under the impression the macks x albinos are fairly popular. But what morph type of male do you think would be best to breed with if I wanted less of a chance of normals?
