iv heard (i think) that i will get 25% hypo 25% mack snow, 25% mack ghost and 25% normal.

is that true or is it 50% mack snow 50% hypo?

The Hypo genes are Linebred. So based off of that, 50% will be Macks and 50% will be Normals. All of the babies will show signs of the Hypo influence I think.

Look for Gregg M baby pictures he bred a mack snow X super hypo tang'CT he has hypo tang's/Mack ghost's type babys. It will give you a rough idea what you will get if you use a good strong lined super hypo tang.Hypo/super hypo type leo's are line bred but coz of the years of breeding they do tend to ACT in a dominant way.So your result if use a good hypo/super hypo line will be hypo tang's poss super's & mack ghost's i doutb you would get a normal and normal mack snows from this breeding.

Generally the "Hypo/SH" Macks that are out there have the "Super Hypo" aka "Ghost"(some of them), dominant Hypo genes in them.;) Like this one

If you are using Ray Hines line (Ghost) which I believe is dominant you'll get what you first said.

90% of UK stock are hines line and a ghost from him was a line bred hypo tang X line bred snow = Ghost (a hypo looking leo that looks like it's always in shed) hines used to breed line snow he now dose mack snows and mack snow X line snow.Ray hine hypo act no differant than any other hypo though line bred hypo's and super hypo's tend to ACT in a dominant way and resulting offsping alway vary when bred out of the hypo line.

These are typical hines hypo's

Gazz, Those lines you speak of are very likely to be dominant and this has been proven by many. Most on this site who have done the work to figure it out will not agree, that "Ghosts", or "Super Hypos" are linebred. We believe there are linebred lines, and there are also [proven] genetic lines.

Linebred "hypo" Tangerines, and Tangs, etc. have been mixed with the "Super Hypo Carrottail" lines over the years, to make what we see today. By that I mean the SHTCT`s, and Hybinos, etc.

These are three morphs we are talking about basically, only the two are easily confused as one in the same(Tang and SH).

Hypo Tang or Tang
Super Hypo CT
Ghost

The thing is Ghost and Super Hypo are the same thing, only one is lacking the color so they are Ghosts. Tangerine was added later, it is not included in the SHCT morph, and obviously not the Ghost morph.

So if I paired...

Ghost het Bell

and...

Mack Snow (BS) Bell
msbsbm_3-2-07.jpg

Would it be a pretty sure thing that I'd get Ghost Bells and Mack Snow Ghost Bells? I haven't ever worked with the Ghost line so...

Well because I dont think there is any difference between, a "Ghost" and Super Hypo (besides color)... Yes, as long as you have hatched enough babies from them.

so that means i will get ghost mack snows?? my mack snow female laid and egg today, it was very dented though and i dont think she has mated with the mack snow male (although you never know) but its probably infertile. i put it in the incubator just incase anyway and hopefully it will plump out.

Would this also follow in a MS x super hypo baldy pairing? I dont think i have ever seen a MS 'baldy'!

Also, how would a MS hypo differ from a MS hybino? Just the eye colour? because they already seem to show very little black pigment.

Cheers
