Mac's Driftwood Cleaning?

Hey Everyone,

I just picked up a piece of Mac's Driftwood from Petco and I was wondering how you go about cleaning these already treated products? This piece has spider webs, dust, and dirt on it so I figured just run it thorough some hot water and let it dry in the sun? Or should I just wipe it down with a cloth and toss it in? Also, how often is wood routine cleaned, etc?

I know a lot of people talk about soaking it and putting it in the oven, but I think that is for wood found outside instead of being purchased in the store.

If you can see spiderwebs on it just wonder what you cant see on it. At the least I would soak it in a 10% bleach and water mixture and then let it dry in the sun. Better to be safe than sorry.JMO
