Making mealworms interesting

I have place a small dish, half an inch tall in the terrarium.

In them, I place about 25 mealworms.

My gecko will come and see what is inside the dish, but will not eat the worms. If one of the worms is more active, the gecko will look at it, but not eat it.

It's not an appetite problem, because when I put cricket, they all get eaten overnight.

How can I make my mealworms interesting ?

from time to time I will tweezer feed mine and you can get the mealworm to be a little more active. Sometimes the mealworms just lay there in the dish...even if they have warmed up from the fridge. Again, mine are a bit spoiled and like the one at a time approach of tweezer feeding.

I tweezer feed mine every other day, since I only have 5 it's alot easier than those that have 10 or more. Sometimes I will leave a few in there for them. I like to drop them in and watch them eat lol.

I have a few picky ones as well. I kinda use mandi's method and drop them right in front of them. I guess seeing them fall really fast kinda tricks them into thinking it's something better. lol If that does not work I just try another feeder. Lucky for me I keep almost every kind of feeder and something usually works.
